Our 14-day tour of England and Scotland
is different from the rest. Here is why.
Small Groups - Our groups are 10-15 people
maximum. Logistically this allows us to stay in the most
charming four and five star small hotels and B&B's and
eat in the local restaurants that you will treasure.
Also, not being in a group of 50 like most tours, lets
you get to know the country and the people and feels
like traveling with new friends
Guided time and Free Time - In each city and area
we give you not only the great hotels and restaurants
but an introduction to the city or area by an expert
guide who lives there! This gets you oriented and
tells you about the history and culture. You then
get anywhere from entire afternoon or full free day and
a half to explore on your own. This makes for a
leisurely pace and your unique discoveries.
The works are included - We do not believe in
charging you one price to get to Europe only for you to
find out you have to pay extra for all of the "options"
to actually see anything. When we say you see
Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's, Warwick Castle, etc. that
means you go inside and it is all included and usually
guided by the best!
Personal Service - We help you with what you want
to do every step of the way to make your vacation
exactly what you want it to be. If you want to
come early, stay late, do something special for your
anniversary, etc. Just ask and we will help you do
it - no extra charge.

Intro to
the Tour of England and Scotland - It
is hard to decide what to see (or what not to see) of
England and Scotland in just 14 days but European
Discovery has picked the best of the best to give you
the perfect mixture of two worlds - the magnificent and
historic sit es
of the great cities and the beauty and wild scenery of
the quaint villages and countryside. The England and
Scotland tour
is designed to give you historic
introductions with expert local guides in each of the places that
we visit and then time on your own for your own discoveries. Whether your dream
is playing golf on the Scottish Links, High Tea at the Ritz, touring Bath
and Stonehenge, or wandering the mansion and castle-filled countryside or all of the above, European Discovery can help make
these dreams your travel reality as part of your tour.
Your European Discovery tour of
England and Scotland will begin with London - 3
days that include an expert guide for an introduction to
the historic sites and tiny back alleys plus plenty
of
time to wander. Next we hop on our own
private mini-bus and tour from London to Bath, the
beautiful Georgian city with Roman the hot springs, and its nearby ancient sites - Stonehenge, and
legendary King Arthur country. From Bath it is on
to some of the cutest villages you have ever seen in the
tucked away Cotswolds - tour the gardens, thatched roofs,
castles, wow! After a few days in the country we
will head to York to explore one of the most
well-preserved medieval cities in all of Great Britain -
including an in-depth tour of its Gothic church - York
Minster. After York, we will head to the wildly
beautiful Scottish Highlands. Here you can soak in the
Scottish country life with walks, whiskey tours,
highland tours and
visits to the remote Isles. We will end our
tour in Edinburgh, the historic and cultural capital of
Scotland. In all of these wonderful places you
will have time to explore on your own in addition to our
local private guide.
England and Scotland have so much to offer with their
beauty and history and European Discovery has picked
some of the gems of the crown to help you explore.
